Unlike other tools that pull at an angle, Tommy removes the bearing using three robust push rods to triangulate force. Its Grade 8 bolts fasten directly to the wheel hub, and five-set screws balance the load. The primary pulling force comes from the pushrods applying equal, triangulated force against the knuckle, never the CV.
Combining TOMMY Rail to the tool’s unique triangulated pushrods and heavy-duty assembly, Tommy easily handles the additional pulling power it was engineered for. This delivers a tremendous amount of energy, pulling the bearing out straight, just like it was installed.
